Coronal Polishing

Course Description: The primary objective of this course is to provide dental assistants with the background knowledge and clinical experience in coronal polishing to enable them to perform this procedure in a practice setting. Upon successful completion of this course, the students will receive a certificate of completion/recognition indicating competency in performing this procedure. (ISBN: 0-7216-8863-2) Course Requirements: For successful completion of this course, each participant must complete the following requirements: 1. Attend all class, laboratory and clinic sessions. 2. Polish on a dentoform in the laboratory setting. 3. Polish on a clinic partner. 4. Achieve a minimum of 75% on a final examination. 5. Successfully complete the final practical examination to receive a certificate of completion/recognition to perform this function. 6.
