Corequisites: None Term(s) Offered: Second Saturday of each month Class Hours: 12 Lab Hours: 2 Credits: 14 CEU Course Description: After completion of this course the student will be able to provide radiation safety for patient and self, expose process and mount radiographs, and prepare dental films for the dental office. Topics include: fundamentals of radiology and radiation safety, radiographic anatomy and interpretation, intra-oral and extra-oral radiographic techniques, and quality assurance techniques. Digital radiography will be introduced in this course, but the main concentration will be on non- digital radiography.
